I have always admired the B&W photos which catch your eye and make you stop and stare for a while... When I look at a photo, the colours can be at times distracting when you're trying to express a particular mood for example B&W portraits help to show a subject's personal features.
Look at the photos I have taken in colour and then in B&W. When I look at the B&W photos I am immediately drawn to the models eyes and thats what I wanted to achieve!
The eye is the window to the soul...

Make-up for the festive season!

As Christmas is coming I was inspired by all the sparkling christmas decoration you can see in the windows of the shops and I can't wait to take out from their boxes and decorate my christmas tree! I wanted the model's faces to be similar to christmas balls - red and gold, blue and silver and full of glitter...The make-up is very seasonal and I have my own favourite make-up styles for the festive period! I would love to wear the classic red lipstick and more subtle gold eye shadows for Christmas day, but definately blue eyes with silver glitter on the eyelashes will be my make-up for New Year's Eve party! Autumnal Photo shoot

I have always loved Autumn and all the colours which you can see in the countryside at this time of the year. It's a great time to go out and get beautiful shots...
I mainly wanted to capture the natural colours of the background, the autumnal knitwear and neutral make-up which would enhance the model's beauty.

We were walking around the park for at least half an hour, because I wanted to be sure that I have the right location, when I noticed this meadow with the dry grass and I knew this is exactly what was needed for our autumnal photo shoot...

When I think of Autumn in fashion I think of very neutral colours, simple accessories and feeling comfortable in what you are wearing, but still sexy :-)
